Marie Byington

Marie Byington has extensive experience in human resources management, currently serving as the Human Resources Manager at SSR Mining Inc. since April 2018. Prior roles include Manager of Employee Relations at Barrick Nevada - Goldstrike Operations & Cortez District from February 2017 to February 2018, as well as Manager of Human Resources at Barrick Cortez Mine from June 2010 to February 2017. Marie also held the position of Human Resources Manager at Barrick Goldstrike Mines Inc. from September 1993 to June 2010 and began their career at Independence Mining from 1989 to 1992. Academically, Marie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, between 1988 and 1993, and graduated from Elko High School in 1988.
