Andrew Thomson Fih

Andrew Thomson FIH currently serves as the Director of Operations at St Andrews Links, a position held since August 2023, where oversight includes all operational and customer experience teams. Previously, Andrew was the General Manager at Fingal Edinburgh from January 2019 to August 2023, leading the hotel to notable accolades including Pride of Britain's Hotel of the Year. Prior to that, Andrew spent over a decade at The Royal Yacht Britannia as Hospitality Director, managing both front and back of house teams and overseeing food and beverage operations. Earlier career roles at The Gleneagles Hotel encompassed Event Services Manager and various event-related positions, focusing on event business management and corporate golf. Andrew holds an MA HONS in Management & Modern History from the University of St Andrews and continues education at Edinburgh Napier University.
