Guido Macchiavello has extensive work experience in the healthcare field. Guido started their career in 2010 as the Internal Medicine Site Director at SBH Health System, where they served until 2018. During this time, they also worked as an Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 2011 to 2018. In 2018, Macchiavello joined Mount Sinai Beth Israel as a Medical Doctor until 2020. Guido then transitioned to SBH Health System as the Director of Ambulatory Internal Medicine and Deputy Program Director of IM Primary Care Track. Since 2020, they have also been an Assistant Professor at CUNY School of Medicine.

Guido Macchiavello holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, which they obtained from 1997 to 2004.
