Laura Carcelen

Laura Carcelen is currently the Benefits Officer at ST. CLAIR COLLEGE. Laura has held this position since November 2020. Prior to that, they were an Human Resources Services Assistant at the same college from March 2018 to November 2020. In this role, Laura was responsible for maintaining resume logs, scheduling interviews, processing work orders and purchase requisitions, inputting and processing employee part-time contracts, and acting as a liaison with hiring managers, the President’s Office, and public newspapers. Laura also has experience as an Executive Assistant to the COO and CL&HRO at the Windsor-Essex Children's Aid Society from July 2016 to November 2017. In this role, they were responsible for drafting correspondence, participating in the onboarding process for new employees, drafting offer letters and employment verification letters, and maintaining employee files. Laura’s experience in both human resources and administration makes their well-suited for their current role as Benefits Officer at ST. CLAIR COLLEGE.
