Abbie Watson, RN, MHA has a diverse work experience in various healthcare and administrative roles. Abbie started their career as a Marketing Publications Coordinator at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community, where they were responsible for communicating the organization's services to the public. Abbie then worked at Wartburg College as an Alumni & Parent Relations Associate, organizing events and building relationships with alumni and donors. Abbie later served as the Assistant Director of Alumni/Parent Relations at Wartburg College, where they developed plans to support the institution's goals and fostered relationships with alumni and parents. Abbie then transitioned to Dr. Jennifer Eisenhuth Orthodontics as a Business Administrator/Marketing Director, overseeing various office departments and conducting audits to ensure operational efficiency. After that, Abbie joined Heartland Home Care & Hospice as an Account Liaison and subsequently as a Manager of Business Development, where they played a key role in business expansion and development. Currently, Abbie is working at St. Croix Hospice as the Vice President of Central Operations, overseeing the overall operations of the organization.

Abbie Watson, RN, MHA completed their Master's degree in Health Care Administration from Des Moines University from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology, General from Wartburg College, which they pursued from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, in May 2022, Abbie obtained certification as a Certified Hospice Professional Operator© from CHAP (Community Health Accreditation Partner).
