John Torres has extensive experience as a pianist, currently serving at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church since January 2007 and performing at St. James Episcopal Church as part of the St. James Contemporary Jazz Ensemble since February 2000. Educationally, John Torres studied at the University of Houston from 1969 to 1975, attended Berklee College of Music for a year from 1973 to 1974, and briefly attended Houston Baptist University in 1968-1969.
