Andy Jones Fcipd

Andy Jones FCIPD currently serves as the Interim Chief Executive Officer and Director of People & Organisational Development at St John Ambulance Cymru since August 2019. Prior to this role, Andy was a Board Member at mirus from January 2022 to January 2024 and held positions such as OD Transformational PM at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water and Head of Human Resources at Pobl Group. A career break was taken in 2013 to focus on endurance events and parental coaching. Andy's extensive experience in workforce development includes significant roles at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust, where notable achievements include receiving national recognition for introducing the Health & Social Care Worker role, which won the HPMA Excellence in HRM National Award in 2005. Andy holds an MSc in Human Resources Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in HRM, and a Bachelor's degree in Business & Finance from the University of South Wales, along with a Prince 2 Foundation certification in Project Management.
