Wendy Strauss is a seasoned professional with significant experience in operations and program leadership within social services. Currently serving as the Neighborhood (Unit) Administrator at St. John's Senior Services since June 2018, Wendy manages day-to-day operations for a long-term care facility, overseeing a team of 60 direct reports and providing care for 50 elderly residents. Prior to this role, Wendy was the Operations and Program Leader for a brief period in 2018, and served as Chief Operating Officer at Jewish Family Services of Rochester from 2012 to December 2017, managing multiple agency programs and a large volunteer base. Wendy's earlier experience includes roles at the Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester, where responsibilities involved leading funding initiatives, and at Catholic Family Center, overseeing clinical staff in Employee Assistance Programs. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University at Buffalo and a Master of Social Work with a specialization in Employee Assistance Programs from the University of Maryland School of Social Work.
