Omar Montana

Dr. Montana earned his Ph.D. in Sociology at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, in 2021. He joins the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at St. John’s as an Assistant Professor of Criminology. His research interests are grounded in the power dynamics of race, class, and gender found within a matrix of criminalization in American social life.
