Stephen M. Llano

Stephen Llano studies the theory, criticism, and pedagogy of rhetoric. His research is wide-ranging, including such topics as the history of university debating and the rhetoric of video games. He primarily researches and writes about the teaching of oratory and debating, and writes criticism of public debates and public address as well.

Dr. Llano’s work has appeared in Argumentation and Advocacy, Contemporary Argumentation and Debate, and multiple editions of The Year in C-SPAN Archives Research. He is the co-editor of the book Adjudication.
