Catherine Willis serves as the Director of Quality Control at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC since December 2021, bringing extensive experience in quality control analysis, particularly for AAV and Cellular Gene Therapy products. Previously, Catherine held several roles at Children's GMP, LLC from December 2015 to December 2021, including Quality Control Manager and Senior Scientist II. Prior to that, Catherine was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from October 2013 to December 2015, focusing on the role of JARID2/JUMONJI in human embryonic stem cell pluripotency. Catherine earned a PhD in Cancer Biology from Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine, where dissertation research examined the modulation of the Wnt/Beta-catenin signaling pathway by chondroitin sulfates. Catherine also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Grand Valley State University.
