Shawn Wax serves as the Vice President for the Midwest Territory at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC since August 2022. Previously, Shawn held various leadership roles in development and alumni relations, including Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations at Columbia College Chicago from March 2017 to August 2022, and Vice President at the University of Iowa Foundation from July 2014 to 2017. Additional experience includes positions as Assistant Vice President of Development and Associate Vice President, as well as Executive Director of Development at UI Carver College of Medicine and University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Shawn's early career featured a significant tenure at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where Shawn served as Senior Associate Athletic Director from October 1994 to April 2010. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in 1991, and secondary education at Harlem High School from 1983 to 1986.
