Shannon Jarboe

Shannon Jarboe is the AVP of Human Resources at St Mary's College of Maryland. Shannon has over twenty years of experience in Human Resources. Shannon started their career in Human Resources at the University of Maryland University College. After several years at the University of Maryland University College, Shannon moved to a privately held renewable energy corporation, where they were the Human Resources Director. Shannon was responsible for the establishment of the organization’s HR Department, corporate compliance with employment law, employee engagement and conflict resolution, training and education, policy development, employee benefits, and recruitment, hiring and retention. Shannon was also the ISO 9000 Internal Auditor and devised and implemented programs to maximize employee retention. Shannon is a strategic partner and advisor to the president and senior leadership team on all people related matters. Shannon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
