Penny Shantz

Penny Shantz is a dedicated nursing professional with extensive experience in various healthcare roles, currently serving as a Nurse and Accreditation Clinical Lead at St. Mary's General Hospital since June 2014, where involvement includes preparation for accreditation and on-site surveys. Previously, Penny was the Project Lead for the Mobilization of Vulnerable Elders at Premier Homecare Services and worked as a Personal Support Worker, providing compassionate care to older adults. Additionally, experience as a Peer Tutor at Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning highlights leadership and mentoring capabilities. Penny co-founded Birth & Baby Doula Services, delivering comprehensive support to families during the perinatal period, and holds certifications as a Birth Doula from Birthquest Doula Services.
