Bruce A. Baumgarten

Bruce A. Baumgarten is the Director of Communications at St. Mary's Seminary & University. Bruce has over fifteen years of experience in technology and communications, including previous positions as the Director of Technology for both the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry and Washington Theological Union. In their current role, they oversee all aspects of communications for the seminary, including website design and management, social media, print and digital marketing, and media relations. Bruce is a skilled administrator with a passion for using technology to further the mission of the Church.

Bruce A. Baumgarten has a Bachelor of Arts in Theology/Philosophy from Georgetown University. Bruce also has a Post-Graduate Certificate of Advanced Studies in Youth Ministry from Loyola University Chicago. Lastly, they have a Master of Science in Religious Education/Pastoral Ministry from Fordham University Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education.

Bruce A. Baumgarten reports to Philip J. Brown, President Rector, Vice Chancellor, Ecclesiastical Theological Faculty. Bruce A. Baumgarten works with Gladstone H.
