Rowena Ortiz-Walters is the current Dean of the Greehey School of Business at St Mary's University. Prior to their current role, Rowena was the Dean of the School of Business at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh from July 2015 to June 2021. In this role, they were responsible for building and sustaining a culture that supported student success academically, professionally and personally, as well as ensuring AACSB accreditation and high educational standards.rowena was also the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Center for Women and Business at Quinnipiac University from July 2012 to June 2015. The mission of the center is to support a climate of inclusion that engages the talent of female leaders and develops the full potential of the female workforce.

Dr. Ortiz-Walters has a Ph.D. in Management and Organizational Behavior from the University of Connecticut School of Business, an M.B.A. from the University of New Haven, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Connecticut. Rowena also has certification from The State University of New York in Winter Leadership Academy: Leading Culturally Intelligent & Inclusive Campuses.
