Maurizio Micale

Maurizio Micale is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management and corporate insurance. Since October 2022, Maurizio has served as the General Manager of STMicroelectronics Re S.A., a reinsurance captive company. At STMicroelectronics since 2000, Maurizio has held various roles, currently as Group Vice President of Corporate Insurance Risk Management. Additional roles include serving as a Board Member for STMICROELECTRONICS (BRISTOL) PENSION TRUST LTD and as an Educational Program Coordinator for CINEAS. Maurizio also acts as an Executive Coach for Réseau Entreprendre® Suisse Romande, enhancing support for new entrepreneurs. Prior positions include managing risk and insurance at Impregilo and Pirelli SpA, and roles at Sedgwick, Chubb & Son Inc., and IBM Italy. Maurizio holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Firenze and has pursued additional governance education in Switzerland.
