Shannon Morgan

Shannon Morgan has a diverse work experience in education and administration. Shannon currently holds the role of Director of Technology at St. Monica Catholic School in Dallas since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a STEM Teacher at the same school starting in January 2021.

Before joining St. Monica Catholic School, Shannon worked at UT Southwestern as an Education Coordinator from May 2011 to August 2015. In this role, they organized medical school interview program weekends, administered campus awareness initiatives, and managed the JAMP Program for underrepresented minorities. Shannon also researched and coordinated off-campus student housing, food programs, coursework, and summer activities.

Earlier in their career, Shannon served as an Administrative Assistant at Brookhaven College from August 2006 to May 2011. Their responsibilities included coordinating staff meetings and events, preparing timesheets and tracking employee leave requests, and assisting with budget analysis by creating event summaries and spreadsheets.

Shannon Morgan obtained an Associate's degree in Physical Sciences from Dallas College, starting in 2003 and completing it in 2009. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's of Science degree in Marketing Management from Western Governors University, spanning from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they are enrolled in Western Governors University to earn a Master of Education in Educational/Instructional Technology, starting in 2021 and expected to finish in 2022.
