Paul Wells has extensive work experience in the field of learning and development. Paul started their career in 2006 at Oxfam as a Learning & Development Administrator. In 2009, they joined St Mungo's and worked their way up to become the Head of Learning and Development. Throughout their tenure at St Mungo's, they held various roles including Learning and Development Manager, Learning & Development Team Leader, Learning & Development Adviser, and Learning Development Officer.
Paul Wells has a Bachelor of Science degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Leeds, which they completed from 1997 to 2000. Paul also has a Postgraduate Award in Core Concepts in Philosophy, Psychopathology, and Ethics of Mental Health from the University of Warwick, Warwick Medical School, which they obtained in 2012 to 2013. Paul further pursued their education at the University of Cambridge, where they completed a PTLLS+ (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) program in 2010. In the same year, they also earned a Level 3 Award in First Line Management from the Institute of Leadership & Management. Currently, Paul is pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy and Mental Health at the University of Central Lancashire, which they started in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2023.
