St. Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory

The first Russian music education institute was founded in 1862. Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Dmitri Schostakovich, Sergei Prokofoev, Sergei Slonimsky, Boris Tishchenko, Ilya Musin, Yuri Temirkanov, Valeri Gergievб Grigory Sokolov and many other world-known musicians were studied at the Conservatory.
