Jennifer McCartney

Jennifer McCartney has a diverse work experience in the field of education and technology. From 1988 to 2014, they worked at Leander ISD, where they held roles such as Campus Technologist Manager and G/T Teacher. In 2014, they briefly worked as an Instructional Information Technology Specialist at The Pinnacle Charter School. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Support Specialist for Digital Curriculum & Assessment at St. Vrain Valley Schools. Jennifer then transitioned to the role of Learning Technology Support Specialist from 2016 to 2020. Jennifer'smost recent positions at St. Vrain Valley Schools include being the Director of Learning Technology from 2020 to 2022 and currently the Executive Director of Learning & Business Technology, starting in July 2022. Jennifer has demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills throughout their career.

Jennifer McCartney has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Education from The University of Texas at Austin. Jennifer also pursued graduate studies in Instructional Technology at both The University of Texas at Austin and the University of North Texas. In addition to their academic qualifications, they hold several certifications, including an Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) and Casper Certified Administrator (CCA) from JAMF Software. Jennifer is also certified in Elementary Education (K-6) by the State of Colorado and holds various teaching certificates in the State of Texas, including Elementary, Elementary Reading, Gifted & Talented, and 4-8 English Language Arts & Reading.
