Rahiem Kurban

Rahiem Kurban has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. RAHIEM began their career in 1989 as a Database Analyst at Rekemo and worked there until 1990. From 1990 to 2001, they served as a Purchasing Supervisor at BHP Billiton. In 2001, they joined Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname NV as an Administrator Procurement and held this role until 2015. At Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V, Rahiem took on several roles including Administrator Planning, Refinery Turnaround Procurement Lead, Procurement focal point for SAP implementation, and Sr Administrator Turnaround Contracts and Procurement. Their most recent position at the company is Business Specialist starting from August 2020.

Rahiem Kurban started their education in 1969 at Prakiki School, where they obtained their Kleuterschool degree. RAHIEM then attended J.H.N. Polanenschool from 1971 to 1977, where they completed their Lagere Openbare School degree. From 1977 to 1981, Rahiem attended Coleridge Mulo School and obtained their Mulo School Diploma. RAHIEM then pursued their education at Havo I from 1981 to 1984, earning their High School degree. Finally, Rahiem attended Anton de Kom University from 1984 to 1995, where they completed their Doctorandus degree in Economy.
