Fred Pye

Fred Pye has a long and varied work experience. Fred is currently the Founder of Canada SailGP Team, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to that, they were Co-Founder & Director of Stablecorp Inc. from 2019. From 2012 to 2021, they were Chairman & CEO of 3iQ Corp, a company they founded in 2012 that focuses on cryptoassets and disruptive technologies. During the same time period, they were also VP & Partner of Landry Investment Management Inc., a global leader in price momentum and value investing. From 2014 to 2021, they were a Board Member of the Hedge Fund Association. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Portfolio Manager of National Bank Financial, and from 2006 to 2011, they were a Portfolio Manager of Wellington West Capital. Additionally, from 2010 to 2021, they were a Director of the West Island Chamber of Commerce, and from 2003 to 2021, they were Chairman of the Natural & Organic Food Group. Fred began their career in 2001 as a Portfolio Manager of MacDougall.

Fred Pye received their MBA in Economics from Concordia University in 1983. Prior to that, they attended John Rennie High School.
