Sofia V.

Sofia V. currently serves as a Social Media Assistant for Video at Columbia University, having started in September 2023. In addition to this role, Sofia V. has been a Freelance Writer for Stacker since June 2022, contributing articles to the Arts/Culture/Media section. Previous experience includes positions as a Film Writer for Lithium Magazine and HALOSCOPE, where Sofia V. wrote extensively about film and media. Additionally, Sofia V. completed an Art Internship at The State Historical Society of Missouri and served as a Film Development Screener for Flix Premiere. Sofia V. is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Film with a focus on Writing and Directing at Columbia University, having previously earned dual Bachelor's degrees in Art History, as well as Cinematography and Film/Video Production, from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
