The service was implemented using a stack of PHP, Python, nginx, Apache, MongoDB, Ubuntu Server, OpenTSDB, and Google Cloud Bigtable running on Google Cloud, Softlayer, AWS, Rackspace and others with all infrastructure deployed with Terraform and orchestrated with Puppet. As Operations Engineer, Pedro was responsible for ensuring uptime and performance; improving processes, efficiency, and cost; automating as much as possible; supporting engineering features, troubleshooting customer issues, and making sure everything was ready for launches; and managing the budget.
