Chris Dreves

Chris Dreves currently serves as the Directeur schoolbestuur IVA Stedelijk Onderwijs Gent since September 2025, following a tenure as Directeur vmbo & eoa at Lodewijk College, where responsibilities included managing approximately 1000 students and a staff of 250. Chris has extensive experience in personnel planning and has held various leadership roles, including participation in the klankbordgroep for the education inspection and the Techniek Coördinatiegroep for technical education in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Previous positions include Coördinator bovenbouw havo/vwo and Coördinator Communicatie at Stedelijke Scholengemeenschap De Rede, along with teaching French across levels at different institutions. Chris holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Executive Master of Management in Education and a Master of Education, specializing in teaching French. Advanced qualifications include training as an examinateur/correcteur for DELF/DALF at the Centre International d'Etudes Pédagogiques.
