Peter Briers

Peter Briers has extensive experience in human resources and management, currently serving as a member of the Gemeenteraad within the Bijzonder Comité Sociale Dienst for Stad Hasselt since November 2020. Since 2016, Peter has held the position of HR Manager at Claes Food Projects, overseeing Claes Distribution, Claes Machines, and Group Claes. Previous roles include HR Manager for Belgium, France, Germany, and South Holland at EQIN EU from 2004 to 2015, HR Consultant at Randstad from 2003 to 2004, and HR Business Partner/Payroll Specialist at Jobmatch from 2001 to 2003. Earlier in Peter's career, positions included Regional Manager at Unique Belgium (1993-2000), Branch Manager at Randstad (1990-1992), and Call Center Manager at Carglass (1988-1990). Peter is an alumnus of KU Leuven and UC Leuven-Limburg.
