Dr. Thomas Mattes

Dr. Thomas Mattes has extensive work experience in the field of HR and people analytics. Dr. Thomas is currently serving as the Vice President of People Analytics and HR Digitalization at STADA Group since April 2022. Before joining STADA Group, they worked as the Director of People Analytics at the same company from October 2019 to March 2022.

Prior to their tenure at STADA Group, Dr. Mattes held various roles at Deutsche Börse. From November 2017 to October 2019, they served as the Head of People Analytics & Learning. Dr. Thomas also worked as the Head of Workforce Management & Policies from October 2014 to October 2019. Dr. Mattes started their career at Deutsche Börse as an HR Specialist in January 2009 and went on to become an HR Project Manager in December 2011.

Before joining Deutsche Börse, Dr. Mattes worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management from January 2005 to December 2008.

Dr. Thomas Mattes earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Mannheim from 1998 to 2003. Dr. Thomas then obtained their Ph.D. in Business, Management, Marketing, and related support services from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, completing their studies in 2009. Additionally, they pursued another Ph.D. degree in organization from the same institution, which they completed in 2008.
