Martin Spatz

Martin Spatz has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Martin is currently the Head of Specialty Business Germany at STADA Group. Prior to that, they served as the General Manager at STADA Arzneimittel GmbH. Before joining STADA, Martin worked at IQVIA as the General Manager and at G.L. Pharma as the Managing Director G.L. Pharma Germany and Governmental Affairs Austria. Martin also had a long tenure at ratiopharm, where they held the positions of General Manager and Head of Portfolio Management. Martin began their career as an Investment Manager at Austria Wirtschaftsservice and then worked as a Teamleiter Impfstoffentwicklung at Biomedizinische ForschungsgmbH and in the field of Impfstoffentwicklung at Baxter Healthcare GmbH.

Martin Spatz completed their undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Vienna from 1987 to 1993, earning a Mag. degree. Martin then pursued further education at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) from 1994 to 1998, obtaining a Dr. degree in Biotechnology. In 2001 to 2003, Martin attended Webster Vienna Private University, where they completed an MBA. Currently, they are enrolled in the Grow Higher Program at IMD for Leadership Program, which they started in 2022 and is expected to finish in 2023.
