Richard Waaijer

Richard Waaijer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management, particularly in the financial services sector. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at STAEDEAN since January 2024, Richard previously held the position of Product Manager at Accruent, where responsibilities included steering the development of the Meridian Cloud Portal. Prior to Accruent, Richard worked at ING from 1999 to 2018, progressing through various roles including Senior Commercial Product Manager for Identity & Access Management, Senior Consultant for Client Services Solutions, and Business Development Manager for International Business Clients. Richard’s earlier experience includes positions at ING focusing on marketing and cash management, as well as a Product Manager role at Bank Mendes Gans. Richard holds an MSc in International Business from Sheffield Hallam University and two BSc degrees in International Business from Hanze and Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
