Andy Horwood

Andy Horwood currently serves as an Honorary Academic Fellow at the Institute of Podiatrists and as Managing Director at Podiatric Innovations Ltd, where expertise lies in design and education related to lower limb biomechanics. With extensive experience in product design and musculoskeletal consultancy at Healthystep(Sensograph) Ltd, Andy has created numerous foot health products, including specialized insoles and orthotics. Andy also holds a Visiting Fellow position at Staffordshire University, leading the MSc module in Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics. Previous roles include Musculoskeletal Podiatrist at Leeds Podiatry Clinic and Podiatric Services Manager at Nuffield Hospitals, alongside foundational experience in the NHS. Academic qualifications include a Primary Fellowship in Podiatric Surgery and a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine from Plymouth School of Podiatry.
