Mandy Welch

Mandy Welch began their work experience in 1990 as a Recruitment Consultant at Kinetic Solutions Ltd, where they recruited candidates for various assignments and eventually became the office manager. Mandy then transitioned to the Faculty of Arts and Creative Technologies at Staffordshire University in 1992, taking on roles such as Award Administrator, Deputy School Administrator, Faculty Administrative Manager, Business Manager, and Director for Business, Planning, and Resources. During their time at the university, they focused on managing change, developing partnerships, and providing leadership. In 2017, Mandy joined the REAch2 Academy Trust as a Regional Ambassador and later became the Head of Project Delivery and PG Research Services at Staffordshire University. In 2020, they took on the role of Regional Non-Exec and Chair of Cluster Board 1 at REAch2 Academy Trust.

Mandy Welch completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in English Literature from Lancaster University from 1987 to 1990. Prior to that, they attended Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College from 1985 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, Mandy has obtained several certifications in project and program management from various institutions such as AXELOS Global Best Practice and Learning Tree International.
