Nigel Peake

Nigel Peake has a diverse work experience in the procurement field. Nigel started their career as a Purchasing Specialist at British Coal in 1980 and worked there until 1991. Following that, they served as the Head of Purchasing and Supply at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service from 1991 to 2001. Nigel then joined Staffordshire County Council as a Strategic Procurement Manager from 2001 to 2008. Nigel proceeded to work as a Category Manager at the NHS Healthcare Purchasing Consortium from 2008 to 2010. Nigel then took on the role of Strategic Procurement Manager at the University Hospitals of North Staffordshire NHS Trust from 2010 to 2014. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Procurement at Staffordshire University since 2014.
