Software and Electrical Engineer at Stafl Systems

Eric Yu has a total of two work experiences.

From 2015 to present, they have been working as a Software and Electrical Engineer at Stafl Systems. In this role, they work on the development and integration of an infotainment system for the Genovation GXE, an all-electric supercar. Their responsibilities include running on an RTOS, embedded Linux platform, interfacing with a 10.4" touchscreen. Eric develops the front-end application using Crank Storyboard (UI Layout, Lua) and the backend software using C# (CAN protocols).

From February 2014 to September 2015, they worked as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Sunstone. In this role, they were involved in designing and developing microcontrollers that interface modules such as CMOS cameras and GLCD displays to prototype a device-unique QR decrypter device. Eric also developed a Pebble smartwatch app that decrypts encrypted messages sent from a webmail client using Bluetooth communication between a computer and the watch, as well as an Android app that encrypts messages using a public-key cryptography library. Additionally, they designed web security software with Javascript (jQuery) and CSS.

Eric Yu attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
