Eddie Song has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Eddie began their career in 2018 as a Software Developer at the Wearable, Interactive and Mobile Technology Access Centre in Health, where they worked on various contracts for tech start-ups in the health sector. During this time, Eddie had the opportunity to work with brilliant individuals and explore new technologies.

In 2019, Eddie joined the Ontario Medical Association as a Software Programmer. Here, they contributed to the rebuilding of a legacy system using a modern approach, facing challenges along the way. Eddie takes pride in the accomplishments achieved during this time, as part of a collaborative and professional team.

Currently, Eddie is a Software Engineer at Stan, a company focused on providing a platform for digital creators. In their role, they are responsible for designing and building software systems to support the platform's growth in users and transactions. Eddie willingly takes on multiple responsibilities in order to contribute to the development of a world-class platform.

Eddie Song attended the University of Waterloo from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Actuarial Science. In 2015, they obtained several certifications from Coursera Verified Certificates, including "Developing Data Products," "Practical Machine Learning," "Regression Models," "Reproducible Research," "Statistical Inference," "Exploratory Data Analysis," "Getting and Cleaning Data," "R Programming," and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox."
