Lukas Vandeplancke has a diverse range of work experience. Lukas started their career as an Assistant Pool Manager at Adams Farm Swim & Tennis Club in 2014. In 2015, Lukas interned at Bekaert Textiles as a Lean Initiative Engineering Intern, where they designed a real-time machine monitoring system.

In 2016, Lukas worked as a Firmware Engineer Intern at Sensus Metering Systems, where they developed a water flow simulation device and an API to interact with the controller. Lukas also delivered a custom water flow simulator for a specific customer.

In 2017, Lukas worked at Bekaert Textiles as a Program Developer, where they developed a custom solution for textile machines. Lukas incorporated a password-protected settings and calibration menu for factories worldwide.

Also in 2017, Lukas joined STANADYNE CORPORATION as a Control Engineer. In this role, they worked on various projects, including repairing/improving belt-fed demagnetizers, robots, servo presses, and laser welders. Lukas also led the development of a completely integrated production monitoring GUI.

Starting in 2018, Lukas became self-employed as an Electrical Engineer. During this time, they gained experience in this role until they joined Stanadyne LLC in 2020 as a Sr Controls Engineer.

Lukas Vandeplancke obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Renewable Electric Energy Systems from North Carolina State University between 2012 and 2017. During the same period, they also obtained another Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the same university.
