Gary Taylor

Gary Taylor has extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector, currently serving as COO for Private Banking EMEA and COO for Wealth and Retail Banking Jersey at Standard Chartered since June 2013. In this role, Gary focuses on risk management, client onboarding, and innovation for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients across Dubai, London, and Jersey. Previous positions include Director of Standard Chartered Trust (Guernsey) Limited, where Gary led the regulated Trust business and the strategic wind-down of operations, as well as a range of roles at Citi, including Chief Administrative Officer and Regional Director. Gary began their career at Nedbank, where expertise was developed in retail and commercial banking. With client coverage across Africa, Asia, and MENA, Gary holds an FCA certification and is well-versed in wealth management, retail banking, and strategic initiatives.
