Lucy Palairet

Lucy Palairet is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy and carbon markets. Currently serving as the Director of Carbon Markets Development at Standard Chartered Bank since February 2023, Lucy has previously held key roles at Clarksons Platou from June 2016 to February 2023, where responsibilities included establishing the carbon broking desk in Singapore and providing comprehensive market analysis. Prior to that, Lucy worked at Noble Group in various capacities related to oil operations and settlements from June 2012 to June 2016. Earlier experience includes positions at PVM Oil Associates and Thistle Energy, focusing on fuel oil operations. Lucy holds a degree in Psychology from Newcastle University.
