Sheri Freedman

Sheri Freedman is currently the Vice President of Global Risk Management at Standard Industries. Sheri has over 17 years of experience in risk management, litigation, and law.

Sheri started their career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia in 2000. Sheri then worked as a Litigation Attorney for Zimmerer, Murray and Conyngham from 2002-2003, and Bonner Kiernan Trebach & Crociata, LLP from 2003-2004. In 2004, they became a Risk Management Consultant for ICA Risk Management Consultants until they took on the role of Director of Risk Management at GAF in 2006.

Sheri has been with Standard Industries since 2017 and has been instrumental in developing and implementing the company’s risk management strategy. Under their leadership, Standard Industries has seen a significant reduction in losses and an increase in profitability.

Sheri Freedman received a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Miami School of Law. Sheri also holds a BA in Criminology/Political Science from the University of Maryland.

Sheri Freedman reports to David Millstone, Co-Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Alexandra Burban - Head of Corporate Development and M&A, Khuram Majid - Vice President, Global Tax Controller, and Ali Hyman - Director, Special Projects.
