Carlos Crovato

Vice President, Business Development (LATAM) at Standard International

Carlos Crovato has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. In 2000, they began their career as a Peer Tutor at Johnson & Wales University. In 2001, they held summer jobs as a Guest Service Agent at the University Park Hotel @ MIT and as a Food and Beverage Intern at the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires. From 2003 to 2004, they worked as a Research Associate/Analyst at The Highland Group-Hotel Investment Group. Carlos then moved to IHG, where they were Lead Analyst from 2004 to 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they were with HVS as part of the Consulting & Valuation Division. In 2015, they founded and became Managing Director of PREMIER International Lodging Consulting. Currently, they are Vice President of Business Development (LATAM) at Standard International, LLC.

Carlos Crovato has a diverse education history. Carlos obtained a Bachelor's of Science in International Hotel and Tourism Management from Johnson & Wales University in 2002. In 2007, they completed a Financial Management Certificate from Cornell University. In 2008 and 2009, they completed an International MBA from EAE Business School. In 2010, they obtained two certificates from Cornell University, one in Hotel Revenue Management and one in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management. Carlos also attended Appraisal Institute Class Houston, Colegio Claret, and Universidad Metropolitana (VE).
