Brian J. currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Disability Income & Long-Term Care at Ash Brokerage, where they oversee the company's disability income division. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Disability Income at Ash Brokerage.

Before joining Ash Brokerage, Brian worked at The Standard as the Regional Director of IDI Sales. In this role, they played a key role in supporting the sale of individual disability income coverage, business owner cases, multi-life cases, medical resident programs, and guaranteed standard issue programs. Brian J. also closely monitored changing financial services distribution models and their impact on the disability income protection market.

Brian's earlier experiences include serving as the Regional Managing Director at Principal Financial Group, where they were responsible for revenue growth and production in various regions. Brian J. successfully built the Colorado, Arizona, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, and west Texas areas into top-performing regions in both business insurance and GDC's. Brian J. received the GAMA Diamond Award multiple times during their tenure.

Additionally, Brian held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at OneAmerica, where they were hired to restructure and grow the company's distribution. Brian J. worked closely with the President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board to achieve key goals in distribution growth and obtaining an upgrade from A.M. Best.

Prior to OneAmerica, Brian worked at Principal Financial Group as the Vice President of Independent Distribution. In this role, they built the independent distribution models for disability income, life, annuities, and nonqualified deferred compensation. Brian played a pivotal role in transforming Principal from a generalist wholesaler to a wholesaler specialist model. Brian J. led the growth of the disability income product line, established and hired life wholesalers, collaborated with a team to distribute annuities through the banking channel, and recruited and managed leading NQDC wholesalers in the industry.
