Kate Merrill

Kate Merrill is a Senior Community Relations and Communications Manager at The Standard since November 2022. Previously, Kate served as the Executive Director at CENTRAL EASTSIDE INDUSTRIAL COUNCIL and as the Community Engagement Director at Cargo Inc. Kate also worked as a Marketing and Grant-writing Consultant for various clients, a Translator at Merrill French Translation, and held roles in fundraising and public relations at Portland Institute for Contemporary Art and International Theatre Institute ITI, UNESCO. Additionally, Kate has experience as a Company Director, Arts Administrator, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of Washington and a Master's degree in Cultural Project Management for Public Spaces from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
