Julie Alipaz

Julie Alipaz serves as the Director of R&D Program Management at Standard BioTools, where responsibilities include managing single cell and genomics projects and implementing project management systems for multidisciplinary teams since February 2012. Previously held roles at Standard BioTools include Associate Director of Marketing Operations and Associate Director of Consumables Production, overseeing comprehensive corporate re-branding and scaling production for ISO certification. Prior experience includes positions at Illumina as a Senior Scientist and project manager, leading teams in R&D and operations support, along with post-doctoral fellowships at Stanford University and Harvard University, focusing on molecular genetics and speciation. Julie Alipaz holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Evolutionary Genetics from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Biology from UC Irvine.
