Emmanuella Tchakmakjian is a dedicated leader and advocate in the field of artistic swimming and athletics. Serving as the AEC President on the USA Artistic Swimming Board of Directors since September 2017, Emmanuella has spearheaded strategic athlete initiatives, including the implementation of the Athlete Bill of Rights and the creation of the DEI Ambassador Program. Concurrently, Emmanuella holds the position of Vice President for the Stanford Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, where efforts focus on enhancing student-athlete welfare, particularly in mental health. An accomplished athlete, Emmanuella was a National Team Member for USA Synchronized Swimming from 2016 to 2020 and has participated in numerous international competitions. Emmanuella is also pursuing an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Psychology at Stanford University.
