Laura Schlosberg

Assistant Dean, Academic & Curriculum Support at Stanford University

As assistant dean of academic and curriculum support, Laura facilitates curricular reviews and WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) learning objectives assessments for all H&S departments and interdisciplinary programs. She manages academic structure changes in the school, supports the student services staff across the school, and serves as the subject expert for university and H&S policy, with a focus on undergraduate education. In addition, Laura investigates student academic grievances, collaborates with campus partners on complex student issues, and mediates student complaints.

Prior to joining H&S, Laura was the director of academic and educational support programs in Undergraduate Advising and Research, managing the quarterly academic progress review process, requests for exceptions, policy interpretation, and the resolution of complex student issues. Before coming to Stanford, Laura worked and taught at Duke University, Harvard University, and Claremont Graduate University.

Laura earned her doctorate in Russian history from Duke.
