Huaming Yao

Huaming (Howard) Yao is an accomplished engineering manager at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. since June 2015, where leadership is provided to a team focused on new product development for woodworking power tools. Previously, Huaming held the position of Team Leader, directing efforts to create premium power tools for the residential market. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Product Engineer at Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions, specializing in variable speed compressor development, and a position as Lead Engineer at GE Energy, where responsibilities encompassed the design of cast structure components and extensive evaluations. Huaming also participated in the Edison Engineering Development Program as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Forging Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Bachelor's degree in Material Processing Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
