Simon O'Byrne

Simon O'Byrne is a highly experienced Senior Vice President and Business Leader at Stantec, overseeing a Community Development Business Line comprised of 2000 professionals in civil engineering, landscape architecture, urban design and planning, and geospatial engineering. With a career at Stantec beginning in 2001, O'Byrne has held several key leadership roles, including Regional Business Leader and Vice President for Community Development in Canada. Prior experience includes positions as City Planner in multiple organizations, including the City of Edmonton and the Pratt Center for Community Development. Educational achievements include a Master's Degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Science in Environment Planning from Pratt Institute. Additionally, O'Byrne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in Sociology and Human Geography from the University of Alberta.
