Mechanical Engineering Superintendent at Stanwell

Craig Elaurant has a diverse work experience, starting in 1988 as a Mechanical Engineer at Mount Isa Mines until 1994. Craig then worked as a Project Engineer for Oaky Creek Coal Pty Ltd for a year before joining Capricorn Coal Management Pty Ltd. Here, they worked as a Project Engineer, Shift Engineer, and Longwall Engineer at Central Colliery from 1995 to 2001.

In 2002, Craig joined Rio Tinto Coal Australia - Kestrel Coal as a Conveyor Engineer until 2004. Craig then worked at Monitek Australia as a Contract Manager from 2004 to 2006.

Craig joined SKF Australia in 2006 as Emerald Region Manager for two years before moving to Stanwell Corporation Limited. At Stanwell Corporation Limited, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer and later served as Mechanical Engineering Superintendent from 2008 until the present.

Craig Elaurant completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in the years 1984 to 1987. Later, they pursued their Master of Engineering Science degree in Management from the same institution from 1993 to 1995.
