John Whitney

John Whitney has extensive experience in engineering and construction management, currently serving as the Director of Engineering, Construction and Facilities Management at Staples, Inc. since June 1995. In this role, John manages all aspects of non-store construction projects, including offices, distribution centers, fulfillment centers, data centers, and various facilities. Prior to Staples, John held the position of Director of Engineering & Construction, overseeing design and construction for retail, distribution, and office buildings across the U.S. and Canada. Earlier in career, John served as a Construction Manager at Rosewood Construction and as a Project Manager at MacIntosh Builders. John Whitney earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University and completed secondary education at Natick High School.
