Diane S. W. L. is an accomplished multimedia and engagement editor currently at the Honolulu Star-Advertiser since June 2018, where responsibilities include managing web staff workflow and developing training systems for digital and multimedia skills. Diane also serves as a board member for the Asian American Journalists Association, focusing on scholarship opportunities and equitable media coverage for Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Additionally, Diane operates an independent business, Diane S. W. Lee Creative Media, which offers digital media services and mentorship for aspiring journalists. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser is the largest daily newspaper in the U.S. state of Hawaiʻi. It was formed from the merger of The Honolulu Advertiser and The Honolulu Star-Bulletin into a single entity June 7, 2010. It is the flagship product of Oahu Publications, Inc. which owns a diverse group of publications, including MidWeek, three militarypapers and various specialty publications, as well as luxury and hotel magazines. The Star-Advertiser is headquartered in Honolulu and it's state-of-the-art Roland offset printing press is housed in a 147,000 square-foot production and distribution facilities in Kapolei.
